Figures. They must have missed listing the last 4 tracks then.

Thanks for the link, but I'll save 1£ + shipping if I order it from the place I usually order cds from (based in Sweden) ;).

Different ATUB releases

I'm planning on getting the ATUB reissue, I was going to get it from the place where I usually order cds, but according to them there are only 25 tracks. According to other stores the 2 disc reissue contains 29 tracks. Has there been any other releases of this album other than the original and the r...

Re: 2005 - Good year for music ?

- new album from New Order (said to be in the vein of Technique, which is one of my faves) - long-awaited new album from Kate Bush Sounds excellent! Technique is my favourite as well (aside from Substance, which ofcourse is a compilation, but it's a compilations of singles not available on any albu...

Hehe, I dunno, placing all the albums next to each other, there's just something about the elephants cover that doesn't quite fit in with the rest. Although it appears I'm the only one who thinks so :P.

Hehe, well I don't have anything besides the ones I mentioned at the top. I've browsed through most of the shows in the list and there haven't been any particular tracklists that have made me go "oh I want that one!" when compared to others. Thanks for the advice and suggestions, but if yo...

What shows to look for?

For someone new to E.C trading. What shows should I be on the lookout for if my main interest is E.C & The Attractions (or the imposters)? Good sound is preferred. I got a show from the Spike tour featuring E.C alone which was nice and had great sound. I also got the one from Palladium in -81, a...

What's the deal with the Armed Forces album cover?

Are there two versions of the Armed Forces cover art? I have the one with the elephants on and I do see it online occasionally. However, most of the time there's the one with E.C & The attractions and the album title written in sloppy red, blue and yellow paint (which looks much cooler than the ...

Your favourite reissue bonus discs

Though I'm afraid of getting smacked on the head for asking a question that has probably been asked several times before on this forum, I'll take that chance. What are your favourite bonus discs among the reissues and why? My three favourites would have to be: Armed Forces: The live tracks are amazi...

Thankfully I'm fairly young, so I'm usually lucky enough to start listening to a band/artist just as their work is being remastered and rerelased, so I don't have to buy second copies.

But yeah, things like this are pretty damned cheap.

Cool, so it includes all the tracks included on the vinyl, UK and japanese editions then? I was expecting something like this, that's why I didn't buy TDM when it was first released.

Haha, I'm afraid I'm not. And even I were I couldn't go. The date for the costello show in Gothenburg was perfect because I have alot of things to do down there at the same time. Now I still have to take care of that stuff only there won't be any Costello show for me. If they had told me about the c...

Not the old one surely? Suspense doesn't get much better, IMO. I love that film. Yves Montand alone makes this worth the price of admission. Yes I'm afraid so, I havn't seen the new version. It was certainly tense at times, but most of the time I felt rather neutral towards the scary situations :P....

I got Wages of Fear a while back, a very unique and great movie although not as effective as it could have been in terms of tension. Alright, speaking of Friedkin. I'd like to put in a good word for To Live And Die In L.A (1985). I don't know how well known it is in the states but hardly anyone I kn...

Re: Elvis-free record?

Chrille, newly arrived here and not going to see Elvis in his/her home town of Gothenburg, hasn't listened to Elvis for 6 months. I guess it might have come out wrong, but what I was trying to say is that I only started listening to Elvis Costello about 6 months ago, so I have more than half of his...

Cancelled shows I curse thee!

D'oh! I just learned that the show that was supposed to take place in Gothenburg on the 20th of January has been cancelled due to not enough tickets being sold. I wish they'd announced this sooner so that I could have gone to the Stockholm show instead. This would've been the first Costello concert ...
