Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year" (2020 UK tour)

I have one spare ticket for Southampton on 1st March row B stalls (I think end of row), if anyone is interested? I pick up the ticket at box office on the night.

My ticket arrived in the post already! I wasn't even expecting it until next year!

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year" (2020 UK tour)

*but for the record the same venue and the same seat in 2018 was £55...he better play twice as long! That’s the point I made earlier. The addition of the two ladies has pushed the prices up by over £40 :? It’s obviously a simplistic comment but it does rankle somewhat. Actually no - because the Jun...

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year" (2020 UK tour)

Well, that was a shambles! The tour announcement email tells you to click on the "shows" page for the presale and that page was blank! Then when I finally found it I saw the front block available and every one I selected took me to an error. Then later selecting other half decent seats and...

Maria and Angela Eagle were at the Palladium shows in 2016. Also spoke to Tom Watson on Twitter (not so much a fan of him anymore, admittedly) and he is also a big fan and loves Punch the Clock.

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year" (2020 UK tour)

Thanks for the info! I read there’s a presale on the 18th and the 19th before general sale on the 20th. Was that maybe a typo or is there really two presales?

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year" (2020 UK tour?)

Super excited! Early days, but hoping for London, Oxford and maybe one other - possibly Southampton or Birmingham. Does anyone know if there's general admission or seated tickets?

Re: "Plotting our return, early in the Leap Year"

He's dragging this out! I think it's because over the past few years he's created all these new tour themes and he's only really played them in the US. Then the cancelled UK gigs last year I guess many fans were expecting maybe some dates this year. So when he announced yet another new US tour lots ...

Re: "Watch This Space..."

Another US tour/exclusive US tour theme??? No signs of even re-booking or making new UK dates for the cancelled ones last year. Plus this tour idea would be A DREAM COME TRUE for me and many others. I do think this tour idea would market well in Europe and the UK. Really really disappointed.

A Case for Song (1996)

Hi all, While we wait watching tumbleweed on tour dates or some similarly exciting news of any kind... I found fragments on A Case for Song on YouTube and noticed many songs are not there. E.g. Riot Act. I remember this being a particularly wonderful performance, but it's disappeared. Does anybody k...

When are we going to hear about some UK dates then, hmm? I don't know why, but I still have my Southend ticket. No use to me now. The setlist for the US dates sounded so delicious. I'd love to hear it. *tumbleweed*

Re: Look Now: new album announced!

Late to the party because I've had trouble for months logging into my account... anyway... I was at the McCartney gigs (Liverpool and London). Not only did I have the unreal experience of witnessing the two living Beatles perform on stage together (and saw Paul's soundcheck show), but in Liverpool I...

Sorry to VG for not getting back to you - I was trying to remember my password so I could log onto the site on my phone and I couldn't get through - especially with the magic phrase that you had to wait to find out! I re-arranged a very busy weekend in order to get back to London for this - but I mu...

Re: Look Now: new album announced!

As well as Jardine's interpretations of the Under Lime title, I also thought of it as drinking under lime as in drinking as far down as the bottom of the glass where the drink-soaked and heavy lime slice ends up sinking to. Is Jimmie a drinker? If he's a flawed man created by EC then I reckon he pro...

Wow, there's quite the collection of merch for this album. He's really cashing in on this! I wish there was a "despatcher" based in the UK/Europe somewhere. Not paying the crazy shipping prices. I hope there might be the chance to purchase some on a Look Now-esque tour that will come...

I hope, what with the cancellation of UK and Europe dates this summer and this new album coming... we will see some UK dates announced at some point. Obviously things are on hold for now and that's completely understandable, but please come and play us your new tunes when you can, EC!

Awwww bollocks! I made a lot of plans - hotels, train tickets, etc and spent a lot of money to go and see this and because it's last minute I'll lose all my money. Plus going to the Holland show - train tickets, Airbnb, etc. Big loss. Possibly another year of no EC shows for me. Depressing. Obviousl...

It's seated. Checked a presale this morning. No decent tickets available, so I'm waiting for tomorrow. I can see Southend from where I live, except it takes hours to get there by train... still the closest show by far though so I'm going for it anyway.

Re: Elvis and The Imposters, Royal Park Live (Holland), July 5, 2018

My girlfriend lives in Holland at the moment and I was researching this recently but decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea (plus she isn't exactly a fan like me). So I spent the week thoroughly depressed about the UK dates so far just being outdoorsy festival style gigs. Not being able to driv...
