Re: Contempoary reviews of Elvis/Washington '78

The Unicorn Times was the Washington, DC music weekly at that time. They might have had a review of the show.

Re: Interviews on YouTube

The interview portion of this is great too. EC really gets on JR nerves. BTW JR was/is a super RR lover.

I got to see AT up close at Blues Alley in DC this past Spring. His style is just so approachable. There isn't anyone like him IMHO. Just such a positive laid back vibe. Makes you feel great! AT is a National Treasure!

Forgive my international perspective, but I think the past six or seven years have proven this not to be the case.
I meant as political slime. I don't like the Bush family either.

Yes it does turn the stomach. The Clinton's are about as bad as it gets. Living here in the DC area has made me pretty much hate ALL politicos and lawyers. I don't even bother to vote and am VERY proud of the fact.

Thanks for the report. I'll do the same after tomorrow night's show. Did Steve hang around after the show for a meet and greet? I left right after it ended but my guess is he did. It was a very laid back situation. Yes, thanks for that review. It gave me a good idea of what to expect. (I wasn't eve...

I went to the show. Very small turnout but I was pretty much expecting that. There were some sound issues at the beginning but they got taken care of. I do not have a set list. Steve started solo and was eventually joined by drummer Jokka. Steve did more singing than I was expecting. He sounds a bit...

Wild Bill just passed. Snip of Pump It Up near the end. BTW this is classic Baltimoron. Enjoy!

I have seen AT twice in the last 6 months and this his band of course minus EC and SN. AT only brought Brian "Breeze" Cayolle on sax though. The drummer is a traditional jazz / rb player. It should be a really great treat.

The show I saw with AT last year was the best live EC show in a long time. Hopefully AT will bring his horn section and AB. IMHO the recent RnR concert tour was a real let down in comparison.

Damn! Wish I had gone to this show instead of the Baltimore one. I checked into tickets to late so went with Baltimore. 9:30 isn't a great sounding venue either but seeing AT would have made up for it. EC should have played the Warner Theater IMHO.
