I'm thinking at Pinkpop in Holland, Glastonbury in the UK, Roskilde in Denmark, Werchter (Classic?) in Belgium, Montreux in Switserland,...

I think that only we - the hardcore fans - buy everything. I'm convinced that this limited edition is more aimed at new buyers to buy this (now special) album, than that it is aimed at EC fans to buy it twice. Each new impulse will convince some more people who are considering to purchase this album...

This was released as a video years ago. It's recorded in 1986 (!) and it features EC in three numbers: The very thought of you, You don't know what love is and I'm a fool to want you.

EC's performance is not that spectacular.

Hurray, we get the limited edition also in Europe, and sooner than in the USA!

I attended the concert with the Metropole Orchestra on July 8, 2004 and after listening to the bootleg a lot and after seeing this TV footage, I have to conclude that this could be a very exciting project for EC. He experimented before with chamberorchestra's and complete orchestra's and the results...

Just bought the Futurama Sessions EP at the Belgian iTunes store. It was very easy: just gave my email adress and creditcard number and within a few minutes the EP was downloaded.

I'm now listening to it and it's great!

I have heard the 30 second audioclips of the Futurama Sessions on iTunes and I like what I have heard so far.

Is there anyone who has purchased this? Could he review the iTunes sessions?

When listening to recordings of the FM broadcasts of North Sea Jazz and the Cactus Festival, it strucked me that EC still improves as a singer and a entertainer. His voice gets better and better and even his vibrato doesn't irritate me anymore. Isn't it about time that 'the world' knows about this? ...

Just got back from The Hague. What must I say: the Metropole Orchestra is a fantastic Jazz Orchestra. They have a vital sound with a lot of finesse. About 80% of the people were older business people with their wives, dressed in 'gala-dresses', problably unknown to any EC song and having an alcohols...

I still think this reissue thing is a scam!!!!!! Why not make a couple of collections with all the extra material so we don't have to buy every last one of his CD's for the second time..??? I think that a boxset with only the bonusdisc-tracks misses a kind of historical view: it is more interesting...

The previous DEMON reissue program had:

201,000 copies. That's strange. He is selling at the rate of Saves the Day and Glassjaw. It thus proves the point that Elvis Costello is an underground favorite with cult followers (was this ever in doubt- Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame inductions aside?). Do you guys think that the next album will sell...

I hope he "rakes it in" whatever way he can. Sales from his latest long player are not going to make him a rich man. I think the songs he co-wrote with Diana will earn him a lot of money, since The Girl In The Other Room is problably gonna sell more than a million. Also his 'Best Of ...' ...
