Margaret Cho digs Elvis

http://margaretcho.net/blog/ 5/27/2004 Maximum Volume In 1983, Elvis Costello was an enigmatic deity in British pop music; Woody Allen-esque in his avoidance of the press. He didn't do interviews and was never seen in public offstage. That year, at the height of his hermetic glory, he released an al...

New edition of Straight To Hell soundtrack

I wonder will this new edition of the Straight To Hell soundtrack feature the Macmanus Gang ( Elvis 'n his Da etc) tracks that have only previously been on vinyl or the recent box sets of CD singles? Great to see Cait's version of Danny Boy being included - it's a highlight of the film. ------------...

Have to agree, of course , with the bro. - great show. The version of Olivers Army was made all the more pointed by a subtle little alteration by Jesse . Everytime he sang 'Olivers army is here to stay' he changed here to there . Very effective.

Just seen , over two days , Troy , Shattered Glass and Bon Voyage. Troy was fun too look at but , otherwise , awful. The leads just do not enage the viewers , therefore making the movie uninvolving and boring. Helen- The Most Beautiful Woman In The World - isn`t so ; in this film she`s a skinny , wh...
