Almost like an 'apples & oranges' comparison, but in the end it has to be B&C. I find myself listening to it much more often, and while the music on KOA is beautiful, the music on B&C drips vitriol. And I like that.

Sorry to hear that, softshoe. Nice avatar, though...love Scrubs . I have to agree with everyone who said American Without Tears , even though I have no connection to the military at all, and marriage is far far in the future for me. And I have to add Rocking Horse Road because it's about the suburba...

Personal Reactions

First off, please forgive me if this has been asked before. I just got Brutal Youth (new to me) and the song Pony St. hit close, almost painfully so, to home. So I was wondering what songs by EC (or I guess anyone else) hit close to home for you guys, and why, if you care to share. ...Please answer ...

I hadn't even thought of that (the Rhinos being phased out). Now I feel like I'm playing a game of 'race the clock', as it were, to get the ones I don't have. Grr...

And Welcome, American Without Tears. I'm pretty new myself.

Spent the sunlight cleaning my patio...I found a pair of shoes that I haven't worn since I was 12.

Happy Birthday to Jude as well...just wait until he's gonna want to have pool birthday parties...

[quote="Who Shot Sam?"]Building on this discussion, there's a piece in today's Guardian that asks musicians to name a critically acclaimed album they cannot tolerate. I looked at a book a little like that, although I think it was either critics or normal people who wrote the criticism. It ...

If dancing hotdogs is a Philly reference, I don't get it. Maybe it's a reference to the vendors, or the dancing tub of popcorn, soda, et al that they used to show at the movies. 'Let's all go to the snack bar...' Then again I'm not in Philly, just outside of it.

I fear for the future, when this is news. And if I have to see her skinny, spoilt rotten ass on the T.V. one more time, I'm going to lose control and vomit all over the screen.

Well I missed the ship on the actual 'discussion' part, but what the hell. It doesn't bother me too much, really. I had my initial 'what the hell' moment, but quickly realised that it's not really that big a deal. But perhaps again I've been brainwashed by my generation....(only 17). The way I see i...
