Faith No More is a shitty band. Just like all this new metal or skate metal or stuped metal that are all over the world nowadays... oh, and they made some of the worst videoclips i´ve ever seen. Shitty band indeed!!!

If youre looking for a preachy Dylan, listen 'Disease of Conceit'... what a boring song!

On the other hand, songs like 'Every Grain of Sand' and 'Slow Train' are 'religious' and theyre never 'preachy'. Theyre monumental instead!

Darklands is a good record. But Psychocandy is ten times better. Peace :D

Its a Jesus And Mary Chain record. You should listen give this one a chance... Have you seen 'Lost in Translation'? The last song on the movie (Just Like Honey) its found here. A great euphoric collection! Classic record. Sad to know that you dislike such records as 'Slow Train Coming' and 'Infidel...

Why is that ?
'Jokerman', 'Sweetheart Like You', 'License to Kill', 'Don't Fall Apart on Me Tonight'.... those are all classic Dylan songs!

It is not 'Blonde on Blonde' or 'The Freewheelin' but a very good album without any doubt. Dylan´s best 80´s record (better than Oh Mercy). IMHO

Is 'Imperial Bedroom' The Best Album From The 80´s?

Better than 'Stone Roses'? 'The Queen Is Dead'? 'Doolittle'? 'Infidels'? 'Pornography'? 'Murmur'? 'Nebraska'? 'Swordfishtrombones'?

No... 'IB' is much better than any of this!

Thoughts?

I spend the last 4 years of my life listening Dylan and Dylan ONLY! A couple of weeks ago i put Imperial Burlesque in my CD player and i was scare: it was almost as good as Dylan! Imperial Burlesque? You just fused two records together into one! Do you mean Imperial Bedroom (Elvis) or Empire Burles...

Depends. If I'm allowed to count Watching the Detectives, then that one. That's one of my all-time favorites. Otherwise, cliche or no, I have to say Alison. Oliver's Army has never played a show without playing that song in over 2 years, and I never tire of singing it. It's one of the best melodies...

Your Favourite 'My Aim Is True' Song

It used to be 'Welcome To The Working Week' or '(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes' but since last week i can´t stop listen to 'Blame It On Cain'. What a great song... 'So if the man with the ticker tape, he tries to take it, well this is what I'm gonna say' Gorgeous sing-a-long chorus, very well ...

Me And Elvis Costello ( A New Fan Story)

I was first introduced to the music of Elvis Costello by a top 100 records of all time. 'My Aim Is True' was in number 54 and i thought i might like that Buddy Holy style guy. I was just 14 years old and wasn´t very impressive about the music in there. My newest CD was about to take a long rest... A...
