Misha-

Klymaxx ended up performing without the one girl who was causing the legal troubles. She wanted to perform with the group, but the founding member of the group said she could not perform with her.

Remember the episode of 'The Dick Van Dyke' show where Laura goes on national TV and inadvertingly tells the audience that Allan Brady wears a toupee? Allan summons Laura into his office and asks her. 'What can I do with all these toupees now? I can't wear them anymore.' Laura: "There must be a...

I've seen a couple of the shows: Klymaxx, Berlin, Frankie Goes To Hollywood. The host either goes to the artist's home or place of work and asks the band to reunite for 'a one night only' performance. The bands have split up because of some naming rights disagreement or just because they don't like ...

Victoria Williams

Victoria Williams has some good tracks, but she is one of those artists that with each re-listen she sounds better and better. I have the cd 'Loose', with her song 'Crazy Mary' that Pearl Jam recorded, some members of REM appear on, and she does an excellent version of 'What A Wonderful World'

I am visiting and staying at my sister and visiting college roommates as well as going to the concert so none of my plans are definite (except for the concert). When my plans are more tangible I will be in contact.

I think it would be fun.

Join me for lunch in Boston on the 27th

Would anyone care to join me for lunch on Feb. 27, 2004 in Boston? I'm going to be visiting my sister who I haven't seen since she got married last year.

Oh yeah......I got concert tickets for that night and so I'll be doing that too.

Saw In America on Christmas Day. Watching this film was like reading a great short story. If there is any justice in the world, or Hollywood, this film should take something home. Also saw The Station Agent earlier this week. (I haven't seen two movies in one week ever before!) This was a good one i...

I want to expand my jazz collection

I have a few jazz recordings, but not enough. I've heard good things about Art Tatum and The Oscar Peterson Trio. Who shoulld I start out with?

Where's Mrs. Krall when you need her? Excuse me, I meant Mrs. Costello....err.....Mrs. McManus.

I always chuckle when I listen to 'I'm The Man Who Murdered Love'. In the middle of the song Andy actually sings 'Oh, it's the middle of the song.'

I write the songs that make the whole world sing,
I write the songs of love and special things,
I write the songs that make the young girls cry,
I write the songs, I write the songs.

It is a slow Sunday afternoon, just mulling around the house, and one of my favorite movies is on TV. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but CCBB is an excelent movie. The music is catchy, the story is like a bedtime story, and I enjoy Dick Van Dyke and Benny Hill (Mr. Hill to a lesser extent....I neve...
