I wouldn't try to get anyone into EC using any records but MAIT, TYM, AF, GH, Trust, or IB.

Based on the three songs I heard live, I don't know if I'm overly excited about this record.

And another complaint I have with BY is that it's best songs aren't as great as the best songs on some of his other albums, including B&C.

How can you FNM weren't a part of nu-metal? They may not have been a part of the fad onslaught, but they were certainly instrumental in laying down the foundation for the movement.

Even EC's demo for Orbison is pretty great.

GCW isn't 100% horrid. It's just a painfully mediocre record from a brilliant songwriter, thus magnifying the already fairly large flaws it has. EC said himself he changed his mind numerous times as to what he wanted to do with this album as whole, and it shows, the record feels confused and unsure....
