I will always put WIWC up there with the best of EC's work. North, really, is just another stylistic venture, it doesn't as much feel like a natural evolution of EC's sound, but just the music geek in him making him play with every style possible. I just feel like WIWC is the perfect culmination of ...

I Want You conveys a mood far better than Alibi does, and on top of that, Alibi does tend to feel like EC trying to relive the greatness of I Want You.

Personally, I think that it is a little ridiculous to say that I have been rude to WHAR when he has been blatantly offensive and abusive to a number of people on this board in recent months (esp me). It is a rather immature thread and I beat seanpointblank hands down! I'm in the club! And wai...

I don't care if you said that to me or not. The point was you were the one, as usual, to start bringing hostility into a thread. If you can't point out how I proved your point, that's your problem, not mine. I have done nothing but explain to you why I think the way I think, and you dismiss my reaso...

My hostility is in responce to hostility. I wasn't hostile to you at all at first. I explained why I think the record is terrible, you simply called that argument a "cop out", which was entirely incorrect and disrespectful. On top of that, to begin with you insinuated that people think th...

Yeah, I'm copping out. I'm explaining exactly to you why the album is bad, and you are simply saying "you are wrong! cop out!" You haven't backed up your opinion at all. I'm not getting offended that you like the record, I don't like that I presented an argument, you dismiss it as a cop ou...

How is it a cop out to dislike the record because of its production? There are a few good songs on that record buried beneath those gross, thick layers, but why should I have to struggle and work to hear the quality beneath 20 feet of muck? The production IS bad. And you're telling me the cheeseball...

"Sam?"- what is such a disaster about GCW's production? Are you saying that because you read it somewhere on the internet? The production makes it EC's most dated effort. On top of the terrible addition of that Miami Vice soundtrack sounding 80s sax, the songs just have way too much ugly ...

Here's my general ranking(proper studio albums!), though records may flip flop occasionally, I'd say this is how my opinion usually lands. Ok, 1 and 2 flip flop daily. 1. This Year's Model 2. Imperial Bedroom 3. Armed Forces 4. Trust 5. When I Was Cruel 6. Get Happy!! 7. My Aim is True 8. Blood &...

But if Radio, Radio was on the original US release, it's just as much a part of TYM as Watching the Detectives is a part of MAIT. I don't see why you're really differentiating there.

So if somebody asks you what album Radio, Radio is on, you say "it's not on one"? I bet you don't. "Radio" and "Watching" all got added fairly shortly after and have been a part of each record ever since. When you guys put in MIAT or TYM, do you turn it off before the l...

Yeah, there are exceptions. I know the last Eminem record came out on a Friday or so, just to push it ahead as much as they could to counteract piracy or something.

But I really doubt EC is going to have that kind of problem.

So a right to choose is more fundamental than a right to live? I don't think so. Once conceived, the being inside of the woman is alive, that's a scientific fact, and the philosophical problem we run into at that point is that allowing abortion heavily implies that a right to live is NOT fundamenta...
