I plan to make it to the show, flying to Copenhagen and train, any suggestions for record shops to visit? Stilla little early but of course this is the 40th anniversary of MAIT my introduction to Elvis. My 8th "country" to see Elvis and the 78th show, not a stalker its just over a 2 / year...

tonight's show just after 7.45 until 10.30

The Unthanks ( an amazing "folk" group from Northumberland who covered shipbuilding) tweeted Elvis was going to be at their concert with the Liverpool Philharmonic at the weekend but I have seen no details or pics, anybody got any updates?

Elvis was certainly in fine form, he was non committal when I asked about the PFM musical but did say he liked the new Liverpool manager. Making a joke Stephen Merchant could play him in a movie.

I am planning to go, I called and they said you can buy the book earlier in the day but were not sure if you would get a ticket or wristband to get your space in line

Looks to a greatest hits reimagined rather than a Mamma Mia type rework. Probably unlikely any of the Elvis collaborations...

Was thinking this will be the last night of the tour, I was at the Police Hollywood Bowl show which was the last night and Elvis performed at the El Rey that evening inviting the audience in his Bowl set to come to the show...I can live in hope!

Anyone going?

Looks as if I will be "home" and may be able to go now, seems show is far from sold out so may wait and try and get a better seat via stub hub.

I am going to be in town so I am going to try. Its sold out so unreserved are 3 to 4 times face at $150.

I was in a real record store in Minneapolis this week and noticed in the new releases the 2 cd set of the Llewyn Lewis concert from 2013. In the used final a fan must have been short of a few $ as I picked up extra copies of MAIT uo to Blood and Chocolate, most of them with promo stamps , all close ...

Anyone got a recording of the show, always like to get the audio of shows I attend.

As many have said a really good show, disappointing after the show a group of about 20 waited to see Elvis outside of the parking lots gates but it seemed "Elvis left the building" in his tour bus without stopping by.

found a number on the credit card bill, evidently if you purchased the pre-sale tickets they are "will call". Anyone else going who wants to meet for a beer?

I still have not received my presale tickets, anyone else with the same issue?

March 22 1978 Newcastle City Hall, followed by Middleborough and the Roundhouse on the same tour, 90 shows later and still counting.

Those early shows had such energy.
