I always heard the connection musically to the Dylan song PD mentioned as well. Still, when listening to it in context it adds a little zip and fun in an album that has a lot of ballads.

Right, higher pitch means faster. Maybe the 'powers that be' wanted shorter videos? Very interesting and something I'd never noticed!

Agree with Unwanted Number. I've got a couple of live versions, but I've always longed for a proper EC studio recording. I also think Life Shrinks is a really great song.

Looks like Durham will be the tail end of the canceled shows. No worries waiting a few months to see the show though. Hoping for the best for EC and family.

I'm also partial to U2's later output. Achtung Baby is probably my favorite, but All That You Can't Leave Behind and No Line on the Horizon are probably 2 and 3 for me.

It's easy for me to pictures Elvis' voice on 'Sexy Sadie' and 'You Can't Do That'. I can also imagine a lovely multi-tracked EC version of 'Savoy Truffle' for some reason. And of course 'I Want You' could benefit from Elvis' particular tonality.

Very late to this party, but I quite like the track. It'll never make my top 40 EC tunes, but a nice change of pace from recent output. In fact, I like all of EC's film tracks to varying degrees:

That is quite often the case for soundtrack albums and the reason has to do with performer's contracts for being included. iTunes doesn't have control over those contracts, unfortunately.
