Alejandro Escovedo's 13 Years reissue has been a constant in my cd player. Great bonus disc! The Wind is another recent purchase that I really love and listen to a lot. I've also been digging The Flatlanders' Now Again and Drive-By Truckers' Decoration Day. Those would be my favorites right now.

The Wind is about as fitting a swan song as anyone could ask for. I'm sure he enjoyed every sam'mich.

Bring The Family is an excellent, excellent album. Tip of My Tongue and Your Dad Did are a couple of real standouts on that one. Muswell Hillbillies is second only to Something Else as my favorite Kinks record. This Is Where I Belong is a fantastic tribute album, right up there with the Gram Parsons and Townes Van Zandt tributes. Lambchop's take on Art Lover haunted me for MONTHS after I first heard it.
