Isn't 'Bedlam' like a hardcore version of The Stones' 'Loving Cup'? I think the instruments like the drums and piano/keyboards got an improvised feel in both songs.

'Spirited Away' is brilliant and my girlfriend gave me Princes Mononoke for Christmas (she gave me EC tickets for birthday, so i know - she's perfect :D ) Mononoke is pretty wild compared to the former but good in a more non-family friendly way. I never got the hype about 'Millenium Actress'. I actu...

* The Spirit was a fun, mature read, aimed at adults but accessible to kids

I really liked Spirit as a kid (and now).

- guess i'll read some of them tomorrow as homage

I've followed it for a year now and it has become a nice sunday thing for me though sometimes it can be really annoying. Have a go if you like, but never discuss the running quiz cause it would take away all the fun. (if people find it fun at all :) )

Any list who favours "Prince, the very best of" over "Prince: The Hits" can't be very realiable. The former does not even contain "when u were mine", "controversy" and worst of all "head" that i find the best prince song ever. What a strange choice.....

Finished 'The Da Vinci Code' last night. I don't read many crime books like this but because of the fuzz and the upcoming film I thought it would give it a go. It's not bad, the first 250 pages are quite good but then it's downhill from there. Most of all i find the historical facts about buildings ...

There's really a wide diversity of opinion about TDM. Nothing clings like ivy and The Judgement seems to divide people the most. Guess TDM got something for every taste :)

Rank The Delivery Man

There isn't much EC music talk going on at the time so why not rank 'The delivery man'? 1. Bedlam 2. There's a story in your voice 3. The name of this thing is not love (4. She's pulling out the pin) 4. Button my lip 5. Heart shaped bruise 6. Country darkness 7. Either side of the same town 8. Monke...

I hope you will like it, bambooneedle. It's humour is really sharp and when it wants to be horrible it's really horrible

Bought Ian Browns 'Solarized'. Not the Stone Roses but pretty good (albeit not as great as the album 'Golden Greats') Thinking of Stone Roses/Ian Brown/John Squire - how well known are they in the US? Stone Roses debut-album is still my all-time favorite album though 'King of America' is close behind.

You're in for treat then. The third movie is so much better than the first two. As for the books i'm most envy that your family still got 'Goblet of fire' waiting.

A quick rank:
1. Goblet of fire
2. Chamber of secrets
3. Prisoner of Azkaban / Order of the Phoenix
4. The philosophers stone

Have just read Harry Potter 5 in 3 days. One of the weakest which still means terribly entertaining and time-comsuming though :D
