Welcome frank. goos lick in your quest to get tickets. When does the competition end? Perhaps we could try and suggest a question for you to enter. Sorry my English is bad too! That should of course read "Good Luck"!

Cheers

Do we really believe that "Elvis Costello will offer some of the best seats in the house with reduced service charges compared to the usual ticketing outlets."?

I see there is still no UK news for Elvis Costello though!

I agree Pov. His songs don't have to be autobiographical. He often writes using the perspective of somebody else. If all his songs were personal songs we'd have a completely different view of him wouldn't we? And we wouldn't be having these discussions as we'd know everything we want and don't want ...

There are some good opinions in this thread. I agree with SMC. I found Elvis' journals very informative and very funny. He seemed to spend a fair bit of time in trying but Island just didn't seem to want to know. It's a bit difficult with Elvis and advertising. I'm not sure what he wants. In the las...

EC in London - October 11th

Is Elvis mocking us? Has anyone noticed that Saturday October 11th is the date of the Turkey v England "Potentially explosive" (copyright of the tabloids) Euro 2004 game? Anyone know what time the England game kicks off? PLEASE be an afternoon kick off although it's bound to be an evening ...

Beans a la toast.

Instructions

1. grill some beans
2. heat up some bread to toast (do not overboil)
3. put 1 onto 2.

Et voila.

Or something like that.

There's plenty more where that came from!

Re: It's all relative...

No matter what you think of She , you must agree that it was pivotal to the movie Notting Hill . Without Elvis lulling me into a passive state of acceptance, I would have never been able to suffer the film in it's entirety. Absolutely. But it doesn't mean it's any good. Could you use the same argum...
