Re: EC & Imposters February/March 2023 "11 concerts up and down the East Coast"

FYI, based on the latest email it looks like they changed the Wellmont Theater show in Montclair to the Count Basie in Red Bank. Much closer, so good for me! Really? A little further for me but prefer that venue. The Basie claim to EC history fame??? FIRST EVER SUGARCANES SHOW!!! http://www.elvisco...

Re: EC & Imposters February/March 2023 "11 concerts up and down the East Coast"

Has anyone seen a show at Wind Creek in Bethlehem? I think it's a casino show, but not sure. Yes, it used to be called Sands Bethlehem. He played there in 2019, I believe. It is a casino. Thanks for that. It seems like casino shows are usually shorter than regular shows. I opted for the Wellmont. A...

My favorite on National Ransom, and one of my favorites of the 2000s. Hadn't seen that version with the Roots. Excellent post, Recliner!

[And I am reminded once again of my dislike of Jimmy Fallon. Why the heck would you have the youngsters swaying behind the musicians on this song?]

Re: Poll: What's your favorite track on "The Resurrection of Rust"?

Listened for the first time today, on my walk before the rains set in. I voted for Surrender to the Rhythm. It's one of my favorite Brinsley songs, I love the return of Bob Andrews, and I like both Elvis and Alan taking vocal leads.

Based on the topic popping back up on the forum, I listened to this album last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Steve's playing is great throughout, and all the songs make great duets.

Recommended!

Re: Songs From Quarantine album includes new EC song "Maud Gone Wrong"

So has anyone heard 'Maud Gone Wrong'? Is it any good? Is it the love child of 'Stella Hurt' and 'Isabelle in Tears'? I've not heard it, but I expect it to have elements of "Accidents Will Happen" too. MOOT It's more along the lines of "Slow Drag with Josephine" or "Hey Clo...

I had to make a long drive this weekend and I listened to the Spotify playlist all the way through. It's a great soundtrack to let your mind wander. And nice to hear other artist mixed in. Recommended--but it's long!

Really great version, and not what I expected. Although for something called "Meditate America," there sure were a lot of cuts in that video. I think the editor needs to meditate for a few minutes. :D

I went to listen today on Spotify and half the songs are now unavailable! Just checked and here in the US the whole thing is ...
