Happy birthday SCC

And it was two years ago tomorrow that we all went to see Elvis. I hope you dig out the birthday card from EC and the Imposters and take yourself back to that tequila ridden evening!

Much love

I've had two emails sent to me today about this. One from 101cd says the DVD will be released on 19th February and the other from eil.com says it will be released on 26th February. :?

It's available from both for pre-order though.

 (although it does depend upon which brand you ingest).

I saw the hygienist and dentist this morning. I also had two x rays and am now £110 lighter. :(

And what's more they've asked me to go back because something showed up on the x ray

Elvis remarked that people now refer to him as EC so if the opportunity comes up I think a "Yo! EC!" would be more appropriate.

I'll try it next time I see him

He used to play it in his early solo days and it would make an appearance here and there but I think it's the first time it's been played for quite a number of years.

I certainly haven't seen him play it this century!

I'm currently listening to a 2CD Hank Williams set called Your Cheating Heart which I picked up in Woolworths yesterday for £3. It has some great tracks on it. Woolworths has a great sale at the moment - Otis Redding Definitive 2 CD set for £4, Van Morrison Astral Weeks for £4, a Dean Martin 2CD ...

BWAP - trust you to fly in the face of conventional wisdom  I've always liked the rear cover of the album (and the front of the cover with the taped arrows on Weller's top always made me laugh!). However I've wondered to this day if the rear sleeve is a photo from a live in concert performance ...
