Re: New shows added for Nov tour - Stockholm 13th and Malmö

The ticket prices for the show in Malmö, triggered an article in the local newspaper.

Apparently we are quite a few that thinks that it is a bit expensive to pay 1245 SEK (€130, £120 or $190)

Re: Is nostalgia a thing of the past?

[quote="verbal gymnastics"]Krm (or anyone) - does a recording of this show exist? Didn't Jackson Browne guest? quote] Jackson Browne sure did play. Chaotic consert week that one. I think that both EC, JAckson Browne, Fabulous Thunderbirds and Dream Syndicate played Stockholm within two day...

Re: Is nostalgia a thing of the past?

Hmmmmmm. EC is always good for another surprise, so I would expect something new and improved for the Revolver tour. The 1986 spinning songbook show in stockholm was quite interesting, as noone in the audience didn´t want to go on stage. The TV show concept as such was completely unknown in Sweden a...

Be careful with the dates here. According to http://www.furthur.net/tour?task=alist futhur played three nights in a row at radio city hall. The setlist mentioned here does not match the date 26th. Maybe EC appeared on the 27th?

Re: In praise of Momofuku

What I did say is that I find it ironical[ funny and irony is a form of humor] that EC chooses to live in NYC given his musical statements in the songs that were cited. There is a big difference. To be able to write like that, I guess you have to be in the middle of it! So from my point of view it ...

Re: "In time we can turn these obsessions into careers"MLAR2

The songs on GH are still capable of delivering surprising renderings. All of a sudden I get a new favourite when hearing Black and Whit world when it was performed by the Roots. I think that is the big difference from MLAR. The songs on MLAR will always sound like a song from MLAR. But the GH ones ...
