Dammit, I've got a ticket for Elvis in Bristol on 21st but after the amazing gig in Tubingen, I'd much rather see Steve in Leipzig, long time home of the magnificent J,S, the chance to hear Steve playing a Steinway would be mighty tempting. Leipzig is also the home of another magnificent piano maker...

That's good news, it gives Elvis a day off before he flies over for the London meet up (again!)

After CCIU and Bedlam, how about a new take on hymns - after all "why should the devil have all the best music " - J.S.Bach !!

Now that the book must surely be finished , how about writing some new songs, working with a heavy metal , funk or Cajun band ( or The Imposters) or a Steve Nieve album of love song covers and new stuff - now there are enough ideas for the next 5 years, eh Elvis ??

10 years ago I might have bought it for my son if only to piss off his mother and guarantee him nightmares. It certainly would put him off any nocturnal activities !!!

One if the joys of finding set list from shows is to discover what songs Elvis was thinking about playing but then never did . VG and I have often perused these post gig and gasped at what might have been ! These look like the July 2003 concert series gigs but it will always be a bit of a gamble gue...

Or a continuation of the early album re- releases with a live complete show from that era ? Incidentally , I came across some old music papers at a jumble sale and found an NME review of the free show in the Clarendon ballroom in January 1990 and the reviewer states that the show was definitely reco...

Was the Stones art bootlegged ! There's been no Costello audio available I just wondered if there was an active Stones recording group like for Dylan ( is it Bobcats ?)

Have seen it fairly regularly when Loki g in record shops in the UK , can't answer for the rest of the world. Picked my copy up in about 1987 in a tiny record (vinyl ) shop in Guildford

I love The deportees, Great Unknown and even more madly Sour Milk Cow Blues , besides the great songs Love Field and Home Truth so I might indulge in this. Would have been a great album re-recorded with the Costello Show line up. Just might indulge in this before the magnificent B&C., a monster ...
