Idiot Wind

Wish there were more EC Dylan covers (have only heard two).
Anything off of Blood on the Tracks would be incredible.. Especially "Idiot Wind."

After that big post concert buzz, I usually have another band coming up I'm looking forward to seeing. before this year, GBV always came around once a year, so I was always OK. But now that they're no more, and after EC, I have no shows upcoming (yet). I may have to go see some no names to work it ...

So you've been looking forward to a live concert for several months, then you come down from the "high" of the actual event as Paddy whisks them away. What does one do now?

Wow - ouch. I am familiar with the technique. Someone will sqeeze of to the front, and make a couple of calculcated jabs with an elbow to hit you in the ribs, and then comes the push. It is incredibly rude. I am sure the victim hear would have moved back if she simply said. Can I step in front of yo...

One could see with binoculars that the event staff was trying to get people up to the stage around 10PM. And then later you could see someone with a set list notepad getting sprayed (I noticed one microphone change.. I think the "Big Wheel" claimed it used to be two or three). Elvis looked...

The very haunting keyboar dcrescendo in "Battered Old Bird." Steve seems to combine a backwards segment, mix tempos, keys, etc. It is quite wild. perhaps someone can explain it to me like I am a two year old.

I heard a lot of complaints from those in the audience who didn't know that there are typically no oncores on this tour, and that he will play straight through 2 hours or 2 and one half house, ending with scarlet tide. There will be many who get a shock when the house lights go on. In Oakland, Paddy...

bittorrent is far better and safer than winmx and the other p2p's. easytree.org is a great place to start, although it may take several tries to get a free membership. There are a couple of very generous "seeders" on this board.

I am sure it will. After all, he will be on the same stage in Oakland, only 6 days later:-) I bet even Amos Lee and Merle had an influence. Would love to hear Dylan's Love Sick. In fac, any from that set list would be great.

you are in for a treat. this is a much tighter, more formal group. You will probably hear a great version of memphis blues with don herron on pedal slide guitar. And center stage on violin will be one of the perky victoria secret models from his commercial to balance out the grumpy devil:) I am sure...
