Thanks for that E*C*RIDER.

Some interesting songs there - I'd love to hear a newly-arranged Either Side of the Same Town and Scarlet Tide.

The second series started on the UK's Channel 5 last night. If things follow their logical sequence this episode should be on Thursday 26th January at 10.00pm.

This was reported on Radio 2's news yesterday. Apparently he's the third (or three other) prisoner(s) to have escaped from this prison recently. No wonder the prison was "certainly embarrassed".

14th May, 21st May, 28th May at the London Palladium? Just missing 7th and then Morrissey would have emulated our Elvis' feat to the dates back in 1989. Of which I went to all four.

I wonder what songs they sung. Who'll be first to say Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport or Waltzing Matilda?

Or perhaps they put music to Russell's previously rejected Oscar acceptance speech.

Otis - hmm. If BWAP had done what you suggested he may have gotten some funny looks.

I thought you and your companion had gotten through 5 bottles of wine in an hour. That would have been impressive. And hangover inducing! And singing "Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner"! And declaring undying love for man and womankind

Is the Japanese version much more expensive? It may be worth the investment. Which site did you buy it from?

I am not familiar with Allen Toussaint's work. Is Tears, Tears and More Tears the song that Elvis quotes in live versions of Pump It Up? Elvis sings a song of which the chorus (I think) goes Tears, tears and more tears Baby won't you please go home Tears, tears and more tears Darling you've been gon...

Chris was pretty good live when he supported Elvis (although how he messed up Cool for Cats after only over 25 years of singing it!). I think he'll be worth seeing.

MDM - who's John Prine?

SoLack - where are you seeing Glenn Tilbrook? I might go to Reading.
