I think it would have worked better mixing the songs as well, but I don't really mind the way it is now. Bawlers is the one that's hardest for me to listen to in one sitting, but my favourite songs on the set are on that one. Brawlers works best imo and is my favourite disc overall.

The last minute or so of Shabby Doll & 5ive Gears In Reverse and finally, lots of Needle Time.

Waits' Orphans

This might just be Waits' best release ever. If I were to put together the 'ten fave waits songs' today there would be several songs from this wonderful set.

I've gotten to know Young Americans by now and I really like it, can't believe I didn't check it out sooner. I'd put it on the 6th place.

Funeral is my favourite album from 2004. I've listened to this a few times today and it seems wonderful. There's only one song I don't think I will ever grow to like.

Usually the one that last comes to mind when I decide which of my New Order albums to listen to, but it's certainly great still. Even like it better than Power, Corruption & Lies (which most fans seem to regard very highly)

Listening to Court and Spark, it's a wonderful album. I love every moment from the title track to Car On A Hill after which it goes slightly downhill. Still, not one bad song on there.

Love Court... & Hissing... havn't listened as much to Blue and Hejira yet, but I can tell I'm gonna love those two as well in the end. Otis, if you have to get just one, get the third album with the melting face cover.
