Notice that it only says they talked to EC about contributing, not that he agreed to do so.

An odd aspect of the new DVD is this shot from "You Little Fool": http://www.geocities.com/ned3705/screen6.jpg On the '90s VHS release, you could see logos for Coca-Cola and Pepsi in the areas which are blurred on the new version. I'm not sure if the blurring is entirely new though. I know...

I'm curious... Had anyone seen this video before? I sure hadn't.

EC's remark that they "scrapped the video, particularly after the American record company Columbia decided to release the song as a single" strikes me as slightly ambiguous.

Uncut , Sept. '05 (his bitching on the commentary about loathed ex-bassist Bruce Thomas is a treat) BTW, this bit in Uncut's review is simply false. EC doesn't "bitch" about Bruce in the commentary. I am well aware of EC's various complaints about Bruce elsewhere, but there is no negativi...

Entertainment Weekly's review said it was "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," which is, of course, not an EC original. I don't know if there's any indication that EC's version was her inspiration.

Kojak Variety, actually, but I agree with the rest. I can confirm that "That's How You Got Killed Before" was slated for the bonus disc by February 2004.

I have this set. Aside from some minor edits, the EC piece is reprinted entirely from the Almost Blue notes, including the part about June prompting EC to improvise a verse of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" onstage. (I attempted to post about this to the listserv yesterday, but my messages ...

There was a period of a few months in 2002 when it was a good site, with EC answering fan's questions and writing a tour diary, but then he apparently lost interest.
