Spare me the theatrics   ... Imperial Bedroom is important for one thing and one thing alone. It is the album from which my moniker comes from. Actually, EH raises a point. Are we talking about the original release or the reissues? Night Time of course wasn't on the original release. Neil...

Riff Raff The Singles 1977-80.

This is Billy Bragg's punk band before he went solo. I prefer him solo but the music captures the era.

Franz Ferdinand were - as usual - excellent. The Forum is a great venue (if a bit dingy!). They only did a 55 minute set followed by a 25 minute encore. On 40 Ft they had the four members of the band, another three people playing drums, someone else playing keyboards and a three piece brass section....

Re: Imperial Bedroom: overrated?

Is it heresy for me to suggest that this album is a tad overpraised? ... God, I'm pompous, spouting my opinions, but I've always felt like a heretic for not totally loving Imperial Bedroom! Of course it's not heresy. You are entitled to your own views about any particular album. Elvis told a story ...

Interesting.

I wonder if Elvis would try and persuade Ray to do Tired Of Waiting For You.

I'm off to see Franz Ferdinand tonight at the Forum. I could have had Arctic Monkeys tickets for the Forum tomorrow night but you have to turn up at the venue between 3pm and 6pm to get a wristband together with the credit/debit card you bought it with. I'm due to be out on business tomorrow so I co...

What do you mean by "Are they real"?

If you mean are they genuine promotional posters put up by the venue/issued by the promoter etc then no.

The descriptions give them as being posters made and signed by the artists in a limited edition.
