All I would say is I know what I like and I like what I hear. Me too, VG. I'm not a guitarist so I can't really analyze or pick apart his performances but I'd agree that he's competent. Not one of the all time great guitarist by any means, but I do like what I hear. Like Noise said, it's just right...

It was a great show! I've never seen Emmylou Harris, and she was wonderful. Larry Campbell was as well. I especially liked Red Dirt Girl. Elvis was on. He looked great! Elvis was GREAT as the guest host on Letterman! He was charming and witty and pretty funny too. I'd love to see him do it again.

You are so very kind and generous to donate your time for such a truly worthy cause. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm going through my treatment now. We need people like you. It's such an incredibly wonderful thing to do for others.
