However on visiting the BBC's sports section as I sometimes do i see that they also agree with my view - quote:- "While Gerrard rivalled David Beckham for England's best player, Lampard was again short of his top form. Who was this written by - Beckham's PR? *pokes out tongue back* ...

Hard to believe they spent 400k to get that. My daughter could come up with something better. I think this was a project shoved to the back of the To Do Tray and then the deadline was coming up. So Marketing Guy 1 (because it's bound to be a balding man with a ponytail) says "Christ - we need ...

Thanks for this.

Is the second series of Weeds going to be on in the UK? I remember it being advertised in the US and that it would "soon" be on in the UK but I've not seen it advertised since. I'm hoping that now Lost and 24 have finished on Sky One there's some available slots.

Good seats are still available through seetickets (better seats than the ones I've already bought!) and there's also the Live Earth concert in London that day. I fear there is such a lull in ticket sales (which are quite expensive in the first place) that Elvis will be playing to a sparse crowd. I'm...

So Gilli, my flame haired beauty, it would appear that Dunga and Maclaren are on my side. I think the mist of watching David Beckham has affected your judgement

I think we contained a Brazilian side which wasn't exactly trying its hardest.

A full report of course will be submitted. Indeed I'll ask Mrs VG for special dispensation to use t'internet when we get home from the show.

When it's said that George Michael will be the first artist to play the new Wembley Stadium, surely it will be the first support band :?

There was a full page advert in one of the newspapers yesterday for Indigo2 and it showed 8th July as Timbaland's After Show party starting at 11pm. As I said before, logistically I can't see the Elvis show being on that night. Although it's possible that the show could be in the afternoon I don't t...

Blinder by Gerrard although Lampard wasn't up to much. McClaren really needs to sort that one out they cant play together! It's not as if this is a new problem Maclaren has inherited. I thought Lampard played well. Were we watching the same game? I read Terry Venable's column in the News of the Wor...

We had a local music festival at two of the local pubs this weekend so I managed to get there on Saturday and Sunday. I have to say the bands I saw were superb.
