lapinjolis: Nothing wrong with not being married. I spent most of my twenties married, only to find myself divorced at 31. Fortunately I found real love the second time. I always feel like I didn't spend enough time single. We always want what we don't have, huh? Remember the Stones, "Can't always g...

I'm slowly creeping towards this one myself, MS. I'll be 39 this August so I'm not far behind you. And since I'm 9 months older than my husband, I'll suffer this before him. He knows not to ignore my birthday for fear his will be ignored in return. I've spent a great portion of my life trying ...

I couldn't decide a few days ago when I first saw this thread, so I listened to IB again on the road this weekend and finally made a decision:

1. Human Hands
2. You Little Fool
3. Pidgin English

I love this album wholly and completely and find it a great listen all the way through. I really like Tart and Alibi - great lyrics to both, but I do love Spooky Girlfriend. My husband always gives me a cheesy little grin when this track plays. But I do agree with you SLL, SG is better in the...

MS - I hear that's a good book. The librarian at my kids' school has been suggesting it to me for some time now. Hmmm, a handyman, a lover - I would say something about someone to carry out trash, mow the lawn and step on bugs, but I'm capable of doing all that myself. Just as long as there's also m...

His newest album, Volume 4 is very good. He's back with his old band and they sound raw and edgy. I recently bought this one for my husband, a long time Joe Jackson fan, and he's hardly stopped listening to it since. Just one Joe Jackson cd - when you don't know much about him? I guess I would say, ...

Tower of Song

Well. . . . I know this was supposed to end on Memorial Day, but since time went backwards that weekend the Tower has just been kind of floating around. BWAP, who started the Tower, contacted me a few days ago to say that he will be out of town for business for two weeks and then a week or so of per...

Not at all. Several people on the board, myself included, have made attempts to contact Narb and no one can find him. Taz has already stated that if this board only exists until the other board is back to normal, that that's fine. No one wants to ditch Narb. The board just can't be repaired without ...

Haven't seen this one yet - but I liked Ed Norton from Keeping the Faith. With all my kids in the house, I may end up sitting through Finding Nemo before this one though, although the critics are saying good things. Sounds like Italian Job is one to sneak to without the kids. :)
