Spare ticket for Southend

Dear all
The Fishfinger Queen has been sent away for a work course, so now cannot come to Southend on 19th June.
So I have a spare ticket if anyone wants it at face value - £42.50.
It's a standing gig, so potentially a front row ticket!
PM me if interested.

Yes, good on Ben to ask for Accidents will happen, too. The evening started with rather too predictable wheel spins, the luck of the draw I guess, but no unusual picks. Oliver's Army twice running!! It got better with time, though, and the little lad at the end (?Josh) was good fun. Good to hear Str...

MOOT has a song missing from the setlist - When can any of us have said that before? Hi Fidelity was again the second song. Agree 100% with the analysis though. Better acoustics Better atmosphere Better song flow & choices than Birmingham. For a Welsh show I thought it very much showed off Elvis...

Possibly Live & Dangerous, Thin Lizzy??

Agree with Verbal re predictable wheel etc. would have liked more
variety. Still never heard All Time Doll or Dr Watson before.
Off to Cardiff & Bristol later!

Re: 'a newspaper picture..A woman was kissing a child'

All this fuss in the media about whether the BBC will play "The Witch is Dead" on the chart show, presumably means that "Tramp The Dirt Down" is nowhere in the official BBC charts. Elvis the sucker can't buy an even break even when he's written a song perfect for the occasion. Do...

Re: 'a newspaper picture..A woman was kissing a child'

I have very mixed feelings about all of this. When I heard she had died the first thing I thought was "Tramp the Dirt Down". Though when you do you feel you are at least partially celebrating the death of an 87 year old with dementia, which isn't that positive an emotion! I always loved th...

6000 according to the UEA ticket website: http://www.ueaticketbookings.co.uk/venues/thetford-forest1.aspx Seen Crowded House and the Beach Boys (without Brian) in other years - pretty good outdoor venue in the Forest. A Saturday gig would allow a walk first. Otis - James tickets are still on sale on...

Elvis is now playing extra gigs at RAH and Milton Keynes as well as newly announced Thetford Forest gig (near us!!) in July.
Flogging himself hard.
Anyone else worried if the voice is going to go again, like last year?

Re: 40 Terrible Albums by Great Artists - Guess which EC alb

Goodbye Cruel World isn't great but even that has some songs that I enjoy a lot like Inch by Inch and Worthless Thing. Ditto for Secret Profane and Sugarcane with Crooked Line and Changing Partners. Brutal Youth is one of my favourites. When I was Cruel I like but not love. North is not for me but I...

Re: Elvis UK Tour 2013

I really don't understand the point of the "fan club" pre-sale. It seems anyone could get them, with no need for registration. I looked for Brighton tickets in the pre-sale and could only find rows N or V in the stalls. This morning on open sale I managed two tickets in Row B without a pro...

Great show, wasn't it? The atmosphere is so much better in a standing venue. Met Sulky, Boy with a Problem and Roofdog briefly before in Cow but had to rush to get back in queue to get to front, so think I missed Otis and Verbal. However managed to get front row - very exciting, shook Elvis' hand as...
