Re: Clown Strike *Guitar players*

VERY NICE chords for that dude. Just incase your wondering the strumming pattern for that is a standard rock shuffle, two down strokes with one up, I figure this out from his video. Umm what version of Hidden Shame do you need, it'll be my first tab but I am very good for only playing for 6 months, ...

Re: What is your favorite Elvis Costello song ?

I think that from a lyrical stand point I would say that Shipbuilding might just be his best song or something off of ATUB like Poor Fractured Atlas, the reason Atlas is just such a beautiful song while being mysterious, it has character, it's playable, intelligent, emotion filled, and not to mentio...

American Without Tears No.2 (Twilight Version)

I have a copy of it but it seems to have fallen victim to it's own vintage so I was curious if anyone has a copy on their computer I could download off of them. Please and thank you, it would be so helpful.

Best Wishes,

Joel,

P.S. Yeah I've been fully aware of those chords but they are occasionally missing more... lesser known EC tunes.

Re: Clown Strike *Guitar players*

Thank once again Neil, unfortunately there aren't any Black Sails In The Sunset chords to be found, I am especially keen on learning that one because I think the version on Costello & Nieve back in 98 was absolutely beautiful. Thanks for that also, unfortunately again and not to be the bearer of...

Re: Clown Strike *Guitar players*

Funny enough I am only 15, all this new music is terrible, Elvis is so under-rated and it's quite surprising. But yes if I could get the chords for the songs listed below I would be SO grateful, they'd be a perfect expansion to my song lexicon. London's Brilliant Parade (Because all the other tabs o...

There is a song book for Brutal Youth ? THAT'S AWESOME!! I wonder if there are song books for those hard to find EC songs, basically stuff like That Day Is Done and such.

Re: Clown Strike *Guitar players*

Hey thanks alot for that starter I knew that it started off with a G but beyond that I was stumped, I even turned to the Bonaparte Room tracks for more insight... the Bonaparte is better than the original recording, the one on the album is too friendly sounding.

Best Regards,

Joel,

Elvis' guitar

I have been trying really hard to figure out the intro to this version of Deep Dark Truthful Mirror, I was wondering if I could have some assistance because I am quite stuck and I love the sound of it, thus I would love to add it to my repertoire. Plus it's a free song of Elvis' If you watch and suc...
