If by "hoax" you mean set up in advance, maybe. Although Elvis seemed genuinely surprised. It was Bacharach though. He has a very distinctive voice and a distinctive way of laughing, and at the end it was clearly him. No, I meant that it wasn't really Burt. But with everyone else convinced it was h...

Am I the only one who thinks the "Burt" call was a hoax?

Frankly, I expected to see people speculating about it already.

Misha...

Were all of the songs you tried to request (aside from "High Fidelity") actually played?

I'd be curious to know if they told people songs were "taken" when they really just weren't on a list of approved songs.

Elvis seemed to settle the matter of whether he eats fish when he revealed on A&E Live By Request that his favorite pizza is anchovy and avocado.

I don't consider fish-eaters to be vegetarians, but I realize some do...

I think he's going to do a full scale US tour... It's just that he's doing other places first.

Indeed, it turns out there are two versions of the song. The official release says "I may be your man," while the advance release (the one I have, anyway) says, "you may be my man."

Strange!

Re: Can You Be True: a duet? (spoilers)

...the final line in particular ("I'll answer 'My Darling, you may be my man'") make a whole lot more sense if they're sung by a woman, while the first verse is unambiguously sung by a man. Actually it goes "I'll answer, 'My darling I may be your man.'" No no no! It says "you may be my man." Listen...

Can You Be True: a duet? (spoilers)

SPOILER WARNING: Those who have not heard "North" may prefer not to read this thread. It seems to me that the final verse in "Can You Be True" and the final line in particular ("I'll answer 'My Darling, you may be my man'") make a whole lot more sense if they're sung by a woman, while the first vers...

i don't know what really happened between them but i gotta tell you it really sucks being the last to know that you're getting dumped. I don't think the idea is that Cait found out from the newspaper that she was getting dumped... Coughlan's claim is that she found out about the "someone else" from...
