Re: Steve Nieve - The Immobile Tour BackStage

No tour would be complete without the accompanying t-shirt and the Immobile Tour is no exception. This enterprising German designer offers this design in different styles/genders of t-shirts and hoodies and even a drawstring bag. The site does not ship to the USA, but perhaps prospective American cu...

Re: Elvis Costello and the Attractions Radio Broadcast (Live)

This is released by the Vox Humana label. It seems to be a Russian bootleg label. Thanks SP. That is intriguing. There are four tracks from the compilation available on YouTube that appear to have been uploaded from the official Elvis Costello channel . But (as Dave Hyland on Costello-L has noted) ...

Elvis Costello and the Attractions Radio Broadcast (Live)

This digital-only release has rather been snuck out. Currently available here: Amazon UK (but not on Amazon.com). Elvis has been promoting tracks from this release via his YouTube channel. The videos are not (yet) available in the USA. EC and the Attractions Radio Broadcast cover 2020.jpg The track ...

It would also be remiss to omit to mention The Immobile Tour BackStage "Welcome Party" which took place on Friday July 24. This was available only to subscribers to The Immobile Tour BackStage (ITB). The setlist was as below, but a lot of the time was spent talking about the idea for the s...

Re: Steve Nieve - The Immobile Tour BackStage

So the 60th show was on Sunday July 26th. It was actually the 63rd show (at least) because Steve slipped in three shows between 59 and 60 and also an introductory show for the Immobile Tour BackStage. On FaceBook, Steve had this to say about the Immobile Tour: "We created The Immobile Tour when...

anyone have a link to the new song performance? It is available to subscribers to "The Immobile Tour Backstage". Details on Steve Nieve's page . I got the sense that Steve had asked Elvis to include some rarities in his set on Sunday night to give ITB subscribers value for money. Steve ha...

Re: A Face In The Crowd: new musical for 2020

Elvis dialled into Steve Nieve's Immobile Tour (BackStage) from Vancouver today and was asked about A Face In The Crowd. To paraphrase his answer, the show was ready to go into rehearsal earlier this year, but that is now on hold until the theatres in the US can reopen. He did premiere a song from t...

It was a good part of a triple bill - I have a recording of this somewhere on cassette. I regularly go to meetings now at the Institute of Education on Bedford Way and the signs for Logan Hall (in the basement) are a nice reminder of EC.
