Gladys Knight did the original, but EC played Marvin Gaye's version on the radio in 1983 and included it in his Vanity Fair list in 2000 . The Temptations recorded it too. Thanks too from me ANCT. That helps me understand why Zmuda posted this to the Wiki as "The End Of Our Road". Thanks ...

Setlist : - 19. Everyday I Write The Book- Mr. Big Stuff - The End Of The Road I am not familiar with The End Of The Road. Wikipedia lists "End Of The Road" as a song by Boyz II Men, which seems such an unlikely cover. "Keep RIght On To The End Of The Road" seems more likely - a...

Interesting to look at the poster for Goldfinger (above) and think about how times have changed. In 1964 the film's producers would have cared not one jot for the Chinese market, but now..... Here is an interview with Carl Marsh published in Buzz Magazine on 7 March, ahead of this Welsh show. "...

Elvis & the Imposters play City Hall, Sheffield, 7th March 2020

In the run up to announcing the 2020 UK Tour dates, Elvis posted a series of visual clues on Twitter pointing to the cities where concerts would take place. This was the clue f...

Elvis performed "Oliver's Army" with The Imposters in Southampton last night (1 March 2020). I was listening out for this new verse (in lieu of the Checkpoint Charlie) verse. However, there now seems to be another new verse, not the one about The Kaiser's Mark. I could not catch all the ne...

If Elvis is recording in Paris, my guess would be that it is for one of Steve's projects (another album like Together (2013)?), or at least a track in which Steve is involved. Possbly a Record Store Day release in April?

Elvis was in Paris for Steve's birthday.

Elvis phone interview with Matt Everitt on BBC Radio 6Music, February 5, 2020

On the Shaun Keaveny show on BBC Radio 6 Music just now, there was a short phone interview with Elvis talking about the forthcoming UK tour, putting together setlists for the tour, recovery from his prostate cancer operation in 2018 and why he does not write songs about Trump or Brexit. Re: New release based on one of Elvis Costello and the Attractions most celebrated albums!!

So I would think it possible that the "Spanish language" remake of an Attractions album is a wind-up. It has been known. Here are some facts to put the idea into perspective. Elvis has played 48 shows in Spain, of which only 4 were with The Attractions, some of those shows were in Catalan ...
