My Aim Is True • queries

Does the new reissue contain everything on the previous two-CD (Rhino) version? Is the sound significantly better? Are the other albums going to get the expanded 'expanded' multi-disc treatment, or are they reverting to one-disc versions (and thus leaving the Rhino 2CD sets as the most desirable)? W...

He's a good writer, though. So worth reading, however little EC content.
If I see On The Road Again, I'll buy it.

I thought it was a pretty good book. Funny and always interesting. He writes well. There's very little about Elvis Costello in it (which bits did Elvis take offence at?), but as an account of the highs and lows of life on the road with a pop group, it's well worth reading. I'm surprised it isn't mor...

Thanks very much indeed.

Did he really play Mr Tambourine Man? If so, where/when? I'd love to hear this.

Thanks for the welcome. This is sad news. The extra discs are often more enjoyable than the real LPs: Goodbye Cruel World being a good example. You'd think EC wouldn't want all those rare/extra tracks to go out of print again after their being 'rescued' by the reissues. Or does he have no say in it ...

Hello and query

Hello. This is my first ever post here. I have a query about the EC catatogue. I've seen that the albums are being reissued without the bonus tracks. Does this mean that the excellent 2-disc series is being deleted? It would be a great shame if this were true because the ones I've picked up have bee...
