I came across this site: http://www.bobgruen.com/index.htm that has lots of musician pictures taken by Bob Gruen. Had never seen this one of Elvis so I thought I would share.

Elvis/Alicia Keys Mashup

Just found this Team 9 Mashup of Elvis's "Oliver's Army" and Alicia Key's "You Don't Know My Name". Not bad. You need Quicktime to listen.

"De-Lovely" clip

USA Today is featuring a clip from De-Lovely that is of Elvis' singing of "Let's Misbehave". I can't link the clip itself but it is on this page of the USA Today website.

Then the Bruzza it is. I think that making someone from your band the best man is too much of a burden for both of you. Nick Lowe maybe?

Decade Description

Watching EC last night reminded me how many decades he has had an impact on my listening pleasure. My challenge is for us to pick one song for each decade we have listened to his music (note: decade of release and correlation must match) that most summarizes our state of mind (conflict or satisfacti...

Maybe I don't understand this poll, but if the question is who in the Attractions/Imposters should be best man it would be a different question that who should be his best man. Some clarification please? (and maybe some definition as to the last choice?)

This was the hardest by far. When I discovered EC the first masterpiece I came across was IB. It was the first record that told a story from front to finish. Years passed and I became enamored with the artistic raw quality of other artists who also could create a complete work of art in two sides .....

I live in the home of a large college football team (American style) and the local AM sports program always uses the opening for "Pump it Up" every day on one of their breaks. I admit I am a freak for the team and get caught up in the talk but something about that opening wakes me up from ...

New Album info in RollingStone

From RollingStone online: Elvis Costello's twenty-fourth record, North, due September 23rd, features fewer than twelve bars of electric guitar. Instead, the set, the follow-up to 2002's rocking When I Was Cruel, consists of eleven new piano-based ballads. "I wanted to go for sounds that might b...

Reissues

I have the funds to buy just one of the reissues at this time.
I have all of the original recordings and love them all equally but for unequal reasons.
Now I am turning to you for imput on which one I should spend my hard earned cash on first?
Thoughts?
