You shelled out money for the albums, and you paid for the concerts. I have done the same, and I have always felt I have recieved more than my money's worth. That is his obligation to us, and we have been rewarded handsomely, in my opinion.

Yeah, when people are always on Elvis to release a live album, I think its kinda ridiculous. He already released five discs of a great one. I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself is outstanding, and it has my favorite version ever of Watching the Detectives. Speaking of Mister Steve Nieve, he real...

Yeah, its wierd. But Elvis has actually done this kind of thing before. The song Almost Blue was not included on the Almost Blue album, which obviously was an album of covers. And the song Imperial Bedroom is a bonus track on the album Imperial Bedroom. Its Elvis's preverse side coming to the fore.

Elvis knows what he is doing, much better than any one of us do. How excited were you when you initially heard that Elvis was recording an album with a string quartet, or with Burt Bacharach, or an album of pre-rock pop style classic songs(Imperial Bedroom)? I can't help but think about the journali...

I've heard Elvis say the same thing about Watching the Detectives, but I've also heard him say that he believes Pump it Up to be as good a rock'n'roll record as ever came out of England. I don't know about that, but both songs are grand. I'd give it to Detectives, because its endlessly mysterious an...
