Woohoo! So worth it!

It's totally great to hear...but I'm an EC nutter!

I love him...this stuff is so great!

I'm high just off the bits I've heard in the last 15 minutes as I've started listening...

Yeah, I'm an Elvis freak! And now I have a pint glass to drink from if I like...

Here's my setlist and a couple comments.

I'm not incompetent! I was tired and didn't feel like transcribing a setlist last night! This recording has blue angels all over it. That and people shouting for people to sit down...and it's in mono. Anyone tape the KPFA broadcast that no one on the list knew anything about?? I suppose yes, we are ...

Try posting to the listserv, see: http://www.elviscostello.info/informati ... g_list.php

There are a bunch of folks over there who play, and usually they love to transcribe stuff!

The Sharpest Thorn

Well, heck I love the whole album! If I could hear "What Do You Want the Girl To Do?" It might be a favorite as well!

51 is not too old!

My dad was exactly fifty-one when he adopted me. He's still alive and kicking at 87, I'm the one that's running late on marriage and having kids! In fact, my dad used to roller skate in his seventies. He could keep up with my skate punk friends. He even rode a motorcycle. Having kids keeps you young...

64/69...how did I do so poorly?

That was pretty challenging...I tried to go quickly and couldn't really hear some of them in my head...that concerns me ;-) Still 64/69 isn't so bad...I expected I'd do better.

Sadly, I think my ability to look beyond production comes from pure ignorance. I listen for Elvis's voice and words Oooh, me too! I love GCW though, I think it's sadly underrated! I love all Elvis though. It's not my favorite, but I play it more often than I do Trust. I don't know why I neglect Tru...

Hey Matt!

I went to about five I guess...not a lot for me as you know :-) That would be Oakland, San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland and Spokane. Elvis played me "She's Pulling Out the Pin" at my request in Spokane, actually I requested it in Portland. Too bad no one had any tapes rolling to capture it :-( Truly...

The folks over at Costello-l didn't have any fun comments on my clips so I'll post an additional one here. Hopefully it will bring Monkey Girl some memories (albeit unpleasant). IS this the girl who hit you (the woman on the recording singing in my ear)? <<Okay, so I have one more file with the hell...
