I have seen him play Substitute and as a snippet Can't Explain, but The Oo recorded these before ICSFM, so I stand corrected, but perhaps he would still see the joke?

I get the impression that the live music experience is becoming more for the casual fans who can afford it as a night out, rather than the dedicated, more passionate fans.
