I am one of those who thinks it is a great album.Maybe a large part of that stems from it being the album that got me into EC.Admittedly, I was also trying to impress a cute brunette in my neighborhood who told me Elvis was her all-time fave.I suppose that had no small part to do with discovering th...

I think it will be cool to hear EC cover Sting.I always thought it was silly that he had a problem with Sting. It will be cool.Yes, sir-ee.I'm a fan of both and think they would sound cool together, but I'll take the baby steps.

I'm not sure LC, I think that Elvis might want to live in a building with average people. It seems to me that there would be a lot of interesting character studies that might stir his creative impulses into interesting directions.Tom Waits once told an interesting story about taking the train from to...

Verbal-Allnighter's definition certainly could be referring to the old rumpy pumpy, as I believe you called it, or merely an all night caffeine, alcohol or misc. other social chemical of choice, creative bender.I'll leave it up to the minds of the collective.heh.heh.For my money, the soundtrack for ...

What in the opinion of this illustrious collective is the best EC album for pulling an allnighter? You know you are going to be up, what is the best album to get you thru the night? On the other side of it, what is an Elvis album you would put on to go to relax you and put you to sleep?I'm curious abo...

I think my favorite Beatles album changes depending on what I'm going thru in my life.Recently, I feel a certain bond with the White Album but most days it's Revolver or Sgt.Pepper.

Wow!The Time cover is richly deserved, although I have very little confidence in most mainstream media so I am a bit suprised.Rock on, Johnny!

The DVD, for most musicians(with taste that is) will be required viewing to see the equipment used and in what respects. It shall be cool.I look forward to hearing the less cluttered version of this album. It will definitely be interesting.

The man is amazing in concert. I saw him in '97 at a club that holds about 5000 in St.Paul.On this tour , he's playing a venue that holds 18,000 in Minneapolis, so I should feel lucky I saw him in a more intimate venue. Still, I'm quite sure I'll see him on this tour.

John Ashcroft is a complete and utter tool that doesn't think twice about pissing on the Bill of Rights.I don't find Chong to be a danger to any community and it certainly would be nice if Ashcroft and his cronies used their time and OUR money a bit more constructively.I hope we can get rid of idiot...

Every time I see an interview with DMC, I am always struck with what a cool cat he is.I bet he'd be fun to go hang out and have a beer with at the local watering hole.Or celebrate Christmas In Hollis with by knocking back a few nogs.Whatever's in season.

I also heard that American V was almost complete, as well as Rubin has been putting together a box set of unrelased songs from their frist four collaborations, apparently somewhere around the EIGHTY song mark.Impressive and I am certainly looking forward to hearing the results.
