Oh dear, now possible to see the way the voting is going - especially when it's so tight at the top :(

Re: Trust Survivor - Round 9

Not happy about this result. Strict Time is such an incredible rhythmic/melodic tumbling ride through the hills on an out of control train. Watch Your Step is fantastic but it doesn't thrill like Strict Time. That song continues the shocking violence featured on the album - 'broken noses hung up on...

What offends me secondly in this truly criminal activity, after the theft of EC music FOR MAJOR PROFIT is this. It is probably a taper fan who shares recordings captured freely whose shows are compiled here from this Port Chester run. Utterly terrible...calling down kharma on this mess. :evi...

Well, I find that Accidents sounds worse without all those other songs crowding around it, and that each one that got excised weakened what was left behind. "Our meddling intellect Mis-shapes the beauteous forms of things:— We murder to dissect." Differently put, I get the game, but, real...

Re: New song ‘Hetty O’Hara Confidential’, July 10, 2020

I agree, Verbal. I've had a couple of listens and there's a chaotic, crockery-set-in-a-box-tumbling-down-the-stairs vibe that I can't get into - and the verbosity bothers me too. The hook line doesn't quite sit for me. That said it's definitely interesting new work and I'll give it some more spins!...

Re: New song ‘Hetty O’Hara Confidential’, July 10?

Strange order, obviously created by a Columbia exec as Chelsea comes from Taking Liberties rather than TYM, PLU and Radio Radio are ascribed to the U.S. releases rather than the original U.K. issues as is Detectives. oh and by the way, do you think the lines with the Eamon Singer drawings should be ...

Okay, halfway there....i found the cassette! I think i have a cdr somewhere too. Give me another day or 2. Guess my tape flip jam was within the 45 minute mark of shows end. Horrible feeling for house lights to come up, and see your cassette at the beginning instead of at the end meaning you record...

This is a difficult one because it’s such a good album. No surprise with Sunday’s Best though. I find it funny that loads of people think it's the worst - imagine people voting off "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite " from Sgt. Pepper over say "Fixing a Hole". To me it's a subli...

Re: Shoes without heels

Elvis has always shunned the idea of a double album except in recent times when vinyl issues have had four sides with three or four songs on each side. KOA could have been mind-blowingly brilliant with those songs included as well as the mighty Eisenhower Blues in a full 7 minute rendition !

Re: Brutal Youth limited edition 2LP gatefold red vinyl

I've just had a brainwave ( ) for the next release "North" on 180g vinyl with one side white and the other black. Cunning and stunning, eh? If Elvis needs someone to come around and tell Eamon Singer to throw away his Rowney crayons and give him advice, I guess I'm the artistic gur...
