Holy crap you brits have the best TV shows ever! All we have in Canada is repetitive ads and voices that don't sound natural (not that I watch too much anyway - even when I went to London a few weeks ago). Love Paul Weller and his recent efforts. "You have never been there 'till you heard the f...

Shipbuilding- A song that clearly proves Elvis as a master lyricist. I personally like the content of the song (It's about the Falklands war) and its smooth/jazzy/punch-the-clock-y feel rocks!

"While we could be diving for pearls" -love this!

agreed Neil...people should recommend newer albums by him, I think they're easier to get into. The older albums just sound older and most people prefer hearing modern stuff and making their way down. well at least I do... I wouldn't recommend RIR because it's not very Elvis, but maybe something like...

If so I think me and Elvis have one more thing in common...

Maybe the "Even" part confused you. I was just asking if they celebrated Hallowe'en in Buenos Aires. Me and my family (well the younger ones anyway) are dressing up as the adams family for a party we were invited to. I wonder who in the adams family I s hould be?

It's an awsome guitar. It looks like a mix between a Les Paul and a Telecaster. Hopefully I can see elvis play with this bad boy some day (but he ain't gonna be on a Toronto stage for a while).

You talk so much about how you hate generalizing, but yet you have classfied me as an anti-US. Goes to prove that all you westerns keep ranting on about how much you hate racism and stereotyping yet you refuse to believe that both are natural resources given to man to defend himself. Anyway I really...

EH, I am amazed that you view Argentina as a non-Western country. I know quite a large number of Argentinians (mostly Jews, by the way), and they are as "western" as can be. Buenos Aires is their pride and joy, precisely because it evokes Paris and all things European. I think you can liv...

I'm not offended at all by it, and in fact I agree with the Indians in seeng Hitler as more of a historical figure than some super-meachine capable of destroying humanity and jewish people. In fact south america's view of nazis differs drastically from the west, perhaps being more accurate? What do...

What he said. Though I'll add that Argentina in particular has a large and long-established Jewish population, and I'm gonna guess they're not part of EH's so-called 'accuracy' contingent. Such ignorance boggles the mind... Yeah but even they are on a different level than the west. They have a pros...
