It's just cool that you even sent the letter. This thread is amazing...it goes from EC to true crime to books..... WOW this board is great! Also magazines are created well in advance of the contents, they may address your letter in 2 or 3 issues from now maybe even more than that. Keep hope alive! 8)

WOW I wasn't expecting this at all! I mean he seems to play to an older crowd and not to some thugs.

We (the whole audience) sat down for most of the Knoxville gig. He even said we were well behaved. Everybody got up and the end and danced, maybe it was the venue.......

I heard it in the trailer too. Then went to see the movie with my kids and didn't hear a note from Pump It Up. :( I also checked the soundtrack listing on imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0307453/soundtrack and it's not there. Rather strange..... Actually that happens a lot. A song will be used to...

We were in row E seats 5,6,7,8. How did you all manage to get such good seats? I stayed on the phone from the minute those tickets were on sale and that's the best I could do. They were still great seats though......

WOW thanks! I'm from ktown too and this is very interesting. Do you know if there is a book about the early recordings that were done in the hotel on Gay St? Jack Neeley wrote about it in the Metropulse a few weeks back and I just couldn't put it down. I had 5th row at the show. I think I probably s...

Just got back home from last night's show at the Tabernacle. . .a fabulous show as detailed by others who also attended. Highlights for me were Blame It on Caine (been waiting 27 years to hear that one live!), most of the TDM material (particularly a spectacular Scarlet Tide) and surprisingly, a ni...

I agree

OBSESSION: a persistant disturbing preoccupation with an idea or a feeling: also : an emotion or idea causing such a preoccupation Well then, I believe OBSESSED is not the correct word to describe how I feel about Elvis. How about ENTHRALLED? ENTHRALL: to hold spellbound; to charm. I like that much...

Sorry I'm new here. Is this a CD for EC himself by this board?

If so, that is the coolest thing I've ever heard! I wish I could have gotten involved in this. My bands name is FLOOZY. 8)

Ah ok so it was Steve! Well they were all great and I guess I'll just have to stick around longer next time! I'm sure he will be back to K-town.
I'm still very glad to have been able to get so close to two original members of EC's band. It was such a cool night!

Thanks!
