Selling Tickets for London Palladium, May 10 & 11 2016, Stalls Row C & D

I recently discovered that I will not be able to go to the EC May 10 and May 11 shows at the London Palladium. I have 2 tickets for each night, Stalls Row C on the 10th, and Stalls Row D on the 11th. I'm asking face value as I only want to get back what I paid, and these are great seats, so I'd real...

Re: 2014 Wednesday Oct 29th LONDON, ENGLAND, Royal Albert Ha

Whilst looking quite interesting it's gonna be a "no" from me on this one I'm afraid. Although expensive, I would happily pay the price for an Elv gig on his own, but with a shared one you never quite know what ,or how much, you're going to get..........as they say on Dragons' Den...........

I have extra tickets for sale (face value) for both the Knoxville and Nashville shows in June. In both cases they are 2 seats together, on the main floor. Please feel free to PM me if interested in either show!

Re: Elvis & the Roots, Port Chester (NY), March 12, 2014

Not trying to argue with anybody, just want to express a positive opinion about the performance itself. It was great to see Elvis play with a totally different band, a different sound, eight songs from the new record. Call me an EC apologist if you must. I agree with this! As someone who saw the Br...

Re: New album for 2013: "Wise Up Ghost" (with The Roots!)

As for the rewrites, I’ve just been reading Uncut ’s review of the album and completely disagree about which are the most successful – they name “Refuse to be Saved” as the least successful and “Wake Me Up” one of the most, but I had the opposite reaction (although I do enjoy “Wake Me Up,” it seems ...

Re: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 9/19

Any chance of a complete torrent of every single Costello Fallon appearance, Doc? Definitely. I'm putting together a complete DVD. Should be ready in the next week or so. That's fantastic news. These appearances are too good not to! I hope maybe it'll be available on more than just Dime, for those ...

Re: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 9/19

Such great performances - thanks for sharing the links! I think the web exclusive "Wise Up Ghost" may be my favorite of the Jimmy Fallon performances. I hope that maybe someone here manages to save the bonus songs somehow...the Fallon website seems to periodically take their own videos dow...

You can see one of his ear monitors hanging out in this. He kept removing them and putting them back in during the RAH shows I saw, as if he was having trouble with them.

Re: Relatively Insignificant EC Stuff. . .

Apparently EC unexpectedly showed up on last night's Jimmy Fallon. He's sitting in the guest's chair when Fallon introduces David Byrne and St. Vincent (she was the one who incorporated the famous "ladies and gentleman, there's no reason to do this song here" bit into one of her recent per...

I just got back from this, and I must say it was pretty amazing. Elvis sounded a little hoarse at times, but otherwise he seemed to really enjoy it and had a mostly appreciative crowd (except for the ones who had the nerve to boo his anti-war comments). There were some real gems in the setlist: Talk...

Just got back from the show at the Evening Muse. A fun show that didn't seem to stray far from sabreman's description of the show two nights ago. The Britney song was "Hit Me One More Time". The new song about the holiday with EC was called "Pandemonium" and was a great rocking ...

I went to the show. Very small turnout but I was pretty much expecting that. There were some sound issues at the beginning but they got taken care of. I do not have a set list. Steve started solo and was eventually joined by drummer Jokka. Steve did more singing than I was expecting. He sounds a bi...

I'm terrifically excited to hear about SN's show at the Evening Muse in Charlotte just 10 days prior to the EC/SN show at the Belk Theatre! Thanks, Mr. Foyle for sharing this! I saw it, and aside from wishing Nick's microphone was turned up more, it was pretty enjoyable. He did "Long-Limbed Girl," backed by Conan's band, the Max Weinberg 7. The interesting thing is that Max Weinberg's band typically play a lot of Nick Lowe songs on a regular basis, so I was wond...

Larry Campbell (formerly of Bob Dylan's band) joined Elvis for the rest of the concert. He played guitar, violin, mandolin, and something that was shaped like a lute, only bigger. At this point Elvis said that he rehearsed these songs for the twins, who "kicked their legs" and seemed to e...
