it isn't too bad, is it LTZ? i don't know why i have it, i just do. surprisingly rocking, good sound, not all cliches, self-deprecating humor. indeed, a fun next door neighbor.

of which, apparently i haven't lost as much as i'd feared...

it is a very nice record that gets treated a little too rough. burt holding elvis back as he makes you wait as the songs are built is a little painful, but worth it. but i like everything elvis, so i am never objective. favorite cuts are the sweetest punch and toledo probably. it's nifty.

the writers of rolling stone picking "yesterday" by "the beatles" as the best rock and roll song ever several months back was the lowest. 15-20 years ago, even less, this magazine was fine. i couldn't wait to get it. now i'm embarrassed i can't stop it.
