Re: Photos from Barbarellas, Birmingham, April 1978

Henry Race has posted some superb unseen photos of this gig with Nick Lowe on bass after Bruce’s mishaps. They're now collected on one page on the Wiki: http://www.elviscostello.info/wiki/index.php/Henry_Race http://www.elviscostello.info/wiki/images/b/ba/1978-04-13_Birmingham_photo_06_hr.jpg

Re: Steve Nieve - The Daily Improvisation

I'd have to watch the show again to provide more precise details (not sure if you are compiling the songs based on the time when the song actually starts, or is introduced, etc., Also, I'm going from memory on the instruments, but here are the songs (in order): Episode 50 00:00 / Either Side of the...

This topic came up in a 1991 interview in Pulse where the interviewer offers Michael Penn, Lenny Kravitz and John Wesley Harding.

Gladys Knight did the original, but EC played Marvin Gaye's version on the radio in 1983 and included it in his Vanity Fair list in 2000 . The Temptations recorded it too. Thanks too from me ANCT. That helps me understand why Zmuda posted this to the Wiki as "The End Of Our Road". MOOT :-...

As a reminder, bordering Ann Arbor to the east is Ypsilanti (ip-sil-lan-tee), as in:

Just a quick query as we approach October 21st. The recording that I'm aware of at this time is from Salford University as advertised in...

There's a setlist on setlist.fm at the moment, though it seems a bit short, currently listing just 15 songs:
