There were new songs. They had a bit more of a folkish vibe, it's hard to say just based on hearing rough versions live, but it's somewhere between a more rockin' Elvis and KOA maybe, but not so much. Hard to describe, especially since I don't know if the piano/acoustic guitar combo is what Elvis is...

I think Elvis edits himself quite well. He may leave songs on records that aren't his best and leave songs off records that are far better, but it still works out because usually it would affect the flow of the album as a whole.

I just wish he'd have settled down on the damn board fades.

Anyone who would blast you for liking Outkast is out of their mind. They are one of, if not the most exciting thing happening in current pop music, it not current music all around.

I would have to strongly disagree on that one. I had a hard time picking 5 songs off that album that I thought were good enough to even be considered my favorite on the record.
