Elvisa Costello

This is actually Kimmy's husband. We've seen Elvis twice. My wife is a HUGE fan, as I'm sure most of you are. Both times we've seen him, I've enjoyed the music immensely. However, I was GREATLY irritated at his political views FORCED on the concert-goers. The last time(during his Katrina rant)I said...

Congrats, 2K! I have worked in the same field for 10 years, am I am currently a job developer/job coach for people with developmental and physical disabilities. The job is challenging at times for sure, but I can also say that it will provide rewards that you cannot put a "wage" on as well...

Happy (Belated) Birthday, Spooky!! I'm sure I can safely say that all of our thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone on the Coast at this time. Being up here in Wisconsin, I for one feel helpless (outside of sending donations and goods to some large nonprofit agency). Things like this certain...

I feel for you, midwesterngrl...my husband and I made the 200-mile trip from our home in northern Wisconsin, and got all the way to the theater when we parked our car and asked two passers-by if we were "legally parked" in a campus lot. The people cheerfully said to us, "Oh, are you h...

I LOVED this movie!! As its tagline says, "He's out to prove he's got nothing to prove."

It's easy to see here (and I've also experienced this with people I've talked to) that people either love ND or totally dislike/don't understand it. There seems to be no middle ground on this one.

I knew that, but I just thought that hearing him do his interpretation of that song on his own might be nice to hear. I really enjoyed the Grammy performance also.

I would love to hear "Oliver's Army" (sorry, it's a favorite of mine) or "Everyday I Write The Book" (The 'heavier' live version). Just my opinion.

How about a version of "London Calling" or "Tommy Gun" (or any other Clash song for that matter)? Maybe too obvious, or maybe not--what do you think?

I also am willing to wait. There's nothing like getting a new disc, getting anxious during the trip home, and then putting it on for the first time.

I agree with the "early MTV" years (1981-84, approximately). One great '80's band, IMHO, is the Smithereens. "Especially For You" rocks!!

My favorite one would be "Indoor Fireworks", from the 2002 Imposters tour. I know it's a more "commercial" song, but I would SO love to hear "Oliver's Army" live--'cause that's my favorite!!

I voted no, simply because I think that although all albums probably have some "clunkers", that's what seems to make the good songs better and more appreciable. No matter what Elvis feels he needs to say, just let him say it, because deep down we know we'll always listen...a few times anyw...
