Re: Nick Lowe and his son Roy play PLU and new songs from home

Fantastic! What with this, Steve and Elvis we really are being spoilt at the moment! Also his son’s drumming is brilliantly natural!
The other thing I noticed is how much the slowed down PLU sounds like “If not for you” by George Harrison! Uncanny resemblance!

We've had this before, but it's always fund to remind ourselves King of America (original, non-colourised version) - the unreadable expression is priceless and somehow hilarious, yet timeless This Year's Model - classic new wave image, much imitated Trust - again, the slightly unreadable expression...

Re: EC to appear on Artists4NHS interview and live performance series, March 27, 2020

As an NHS employee, I feel the best support Elvis could give me personally at this moment would be access to his personal archive - only the live stuff you understand, I'm not greedy and this would alleviate the strain my colleagues are feeling when I return to work at the end of April (at the late...

“in all likelihood London would mark the end of the tour”. Let’s hope not. In moaning news, I hate the “His aim is still true” headline. It’s so commonly used as well. I remember Elvis criticising journalists for “lazy writing” and using that is just as bad, after all he basically got us to ...
