Re: Elvis plays Glasgow, July 13, 2016

First time I've risked taking a recording device into the Barrowlands, but had no issue despite their absurdly strict frisking. Will upload later provided everything has turned out ok.

Re: Sugarcanes Glasgow 2010 / Detour Edinburgh 2014 recordings here

Apologies to whoever I said I was going to send these to several years ago. Hopefully the wait makes it even better. I should have realised this would be the only Sugarcanes version of Psycho.... never mind.

Sugarcanes Glasgow 2010 / Detour Edinburgh 2014 recordings here

These are large WAV files, with no EQ nor compression. The audience applause levels in the Concert Hall recording are a bit loud due to the room's acoustics. Perhaps someone could take these and tidy up the sound and re-share as FLACS. Anyway, here's the raw files. EC & Sugarcanes, Glasgow Conce...

Re: Elvis & The Sugarcanes, Glasgow (UK), July 2, 2010

PaulTMA said If anyone has any suggestions for making this recording more balanced (compression?) then I'd like to hear them. I have Audacity, Logic Express 8 and Garageband at my disposal. I use Nero which has several free downloads variations to play with my wav files. On my version of Nero (whic...

Re: Elvis & The Sugarcanes, Glasgow (UK), July 2, 2010

Wow! What an awesome set list! Elvis must have been a fine mood for this show! It's got to be the best concert of the year so far. Did everyone freak out when he started in on "Psycho"? Indeed... there were a couple of requests for 'Veronica' and 'Alison' early on, which prompted Elvis to...

Thanks... I see someone's already given the Later interview a mere 2 out of 5 rating, possibly because I paused the tape for the Aretha Franklin clip as a 14 year old... we can't get them all right at that age....
