I have to check the board more often! I wasn't going to bother with this one, but here goes. 1st, me and EC: physical 6% emotional 97% intellectual 41% total 49% My best matches? Terri Clark - 100% (Exact same birthdate and we're both Canadian.) Michelle - 99% Oddly, Michelle doesn't have a last nam...

Would Sting do an EC tribute? No. DrJ Maybe I'm reaching here, but take a look at the video The Police did for "Can't Stand Losing You" way back in '79. Looks to me like Sting's swipe at EC OR if you want a (very) loose interpretation, a tribute. For those that don't know, the vid features a bespec...

Two phrases I can not stand because they are so misused: per se , which means intrinsically, but is so often used to mean "that is to say" and; it begs the question when what people mean is "it raises the question". Begging the question occurs when one uses an unproven statement to argue a point.

Thanks for the extras list, Dexter. I was wondering if Elvis would give a nod to Johnny Cash and you answered that for me. Now what I want to know is, am I the only one who wondered if the director had any idea what he was doing? I was getting peeved at the quick cut "rock video" style that seemed t...

Otis, normally I'd agree that making software for both platforms does increase development costs, but in this case a file is a file. I have Windows Media Player on my Mac and I have internet access, so I don't see why Universal couldn't make the download Mac compatible. This happened with the Sunday...

Anyone know if this Pete Thomas is the same as...

...the one we all know and love? I was doing a search on Roger Whittaker records (don't ask) and came across this listing for an album called "Celebration" (note the 3rd name): Artists Nick Glennie-Smith (Keyboard) Paul Keogh (Guitar) Pete Thomas (Drums) Peter Becket (Backup Vocals) Lindsay Benson (...

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm drawing a blank on when EC recorded with Johnny Cash. When did this happen? From EC's liner notes to the Rykodisc reissue of "Almost Blue": "In a roundabout way my link with country music was strengthened by Nick Lowe's marriage to Carlene Carter, daughter of June Carte...
