Dime seems to be the hardest to get up your ratio unless you are a frequent uploaded. Then again it is quite a treasure trove so my ratio would probably suck regardless. Hope that info helps.

Thanks doc. Someone claimed they would eventually digitize this. Doc seems to be willing and capable if sources are provided. I have a vhs to DVD standalone also but my authoring software is not as polished as tmpgenc.

I didn't realize he recorded it and was asking for help. I use a mac too. I use Audacity envelope feature feature to quiet things and then amplify but I'm sure many would have fun just tinkering with the raw recording. Sorry to Paul for not noticing this sooner
