There actually is one Attractions outtake: "Betrayal."

There are a couple of other new details at the EC on Rhino site.

Although the re-issue credits the production of the first , Red Roses For Me , to Stan Brennan alone the extras on the album include The Leaving Of Liverpool and The Wild Rover. When they were first released , as the b-sides to the 12" of Sally MacLennane in 1985 , the production was credited ...

Cáit O’Riordan turned forty in 2003.
If she was born in 1965, how did she manage to turn 40 in 2003?

I believe these are the lyrics as sung on The Clarksdale Sessions . I can't be sure if it's "shaking" or "shaken," but otherwise they seem pretty easy to make out. In another room Just out of my sight Words we used to say become so slight 'Til they disappoint And I know you won't...

As promised... I'm enjoying it, but it's undeniably slight, sort of like getting half of a Rhino bonus disc. It also covers similar territory to the recent FUTURAMA SESSIONS, and I expect less obsessive fans to think both projects are the same thing. It has a very rough and "live" sound th...

I just bought a copy. I'll post my review tonight after I've been able to listen to it. (The problem with new vinyl is I can't pop it into the car CD player immediately after getting it.)

Yes, I have one that has a second disc with several live cuts from the Lonely World Tour on it, including a great Inch by Inch that segues into Fever. The "Inch By Inch/Fever" medley is on the "Toledo" single. The Painted From Memory bonus disc has live versions of "This Ho...

At the risk of stating the obvious, the album title makes me wonder if it will include "My Mood Swings." Note that EC and the Brodsky Quartet played that song in concert in 2003-2004. It was previously reported that they had recorded a version of Randy Newman's "Real Emotional Girl.&q...

I believe he first saw her when Cait brought him to one of her concerts in Australia, though they may not have met then. I don't think so. They met at the Grammys February 28, 2002. They were then both in Australia in July 2002. Diana played the Sydney Opera House on the 14th, 15th, and 16th. Elvis...

I think he'll lose them all.

Male Pop Vocal will go to John Mayer. Rock Album will go to Green Day. Rock Performance will go to U2 (or maybe Green Day). Motion Picture Song will go to Annie Lennox.

Re: Full Force Gale

Does Van preside with Phil Coulter over the production of all of NPD? Isn't it rather unusual for an artist to produce their own tribute record? It gives it a nice seal of approval. Well, Van is credited with co-producing all of No Prima Donna, but I've wondered if that's really more of an "ex...

"Too Blue" is jazzy and uptempo. It sounds slightly less unlike the rest of NORTH than "Impatience." But no, it doesn't really fit in either.
